🐅 2006 Mercedes E350 Fuel Pump Problems
Anotherpotential cause for bad fuel pump symptoms is a faulty fuel pump relay. This relay controls the power supply to your F350’s fuel pump, and a faulty relay may lead to: Intermittent power loss to the fuel pump. Inability to start your truck. Unpredictable pump operation, leading to stalling or rough running.
Theold one had a crack in the plastic that would leak gas. The new pump and new seals fixed that problem. This was just related to a CEL for a very small emissions leak. If the gas smell on fill up ever comes back, I will be looking to Mercedes to honor the extended warranty for this problem. Thanks Tony
2007E350 Fuel pumps. Our 2007 E350 died driving in the countryside north of San Francisco. After tow, the local garage reported both fuel pumps failed. Fast forward, the pumps they ordered don't fit and the entire gas tank needs to be replaced, parts and labor $3K. The car has 161,000 miles on it.
