🐶 Is E36 A Good Car
Hey everyone, not sure how many people will remember this but about 6 months ago I asked this thread if it was a good idea to sell my 335is and buy and e36 and turbo it. Well I did it. Bought a 328i 5MT right before the school year started and would come home to work on the car about every 3 weeks or so.
My first car was an e36 325is which we got for $1.7k. Hella fun to drive and fairly straight forward to work on. Have a e36 DIY manual and you're good to go for just about anything related to your car. I say go for it! You can find OBD I's ('95 and prior) for under 3k easily.
Don’t worry though, a good six-pot E36 is still a hugely rewarding car to drive and is significantly cheaper to buy, insure and maintain. Bodywork. The inline-4 engines will go on forever if they are maintained and the only thing to look out for in the inline-6 engines is the oil level.
